From Volume 15 (I think?) of 'Fruits Basket' by Natsuki Takaya.
One of the pieces in my IB2 Art portfolio. Idea also influenced by Roy Lichtenstein. Mr. Lichtenstein did work like this (using scenes from other artists' comics), so I thought I'd try it out too. You can't see it on the photograph, but Kyo's back is painted so that the paint's texture mimics that of the folds of his clothes. Too bad you can't see it *sniff* Acrylic on Canvas Board Again, the scene is from 'Fruits Basket' by Natsuki Takaya. |
